The feature rich CMP4010 wireless module was designed for IoT sensors, controllers, edge-devices…and networks that demand low-power and reliable connectivity in harsh environments.
Built around the RTL8721 SoC from Realtek, this Wi-Fi + BT Module offers single-stream 802.11n + BT5 (and BT Mesh) functionality. The Wi-Fi and BT Wireless MCU is a dual-core solution that features a KM4 MCU, designed by ARM and Realtek specifically for power constrained IoT applications, and a M0 core to manage BT5 and power modes. SoC shutdown and Wireless MCU deep-sleep modes minimize current consumption to achieve maximum battery life. On-board 16 Mbit FLASH and 4.5 Mbit SRAM, combined with execute-in-place (XIP) capability, allow room for user application code and OTA updates. Cloud connectivity, provisioning, fast connect…and OTA firmware are available for fast IoT development. The high-end radio, coupled with the optimized embedded antenna, deliver broad coverage and long-range BT + Wi-Fi connections, in noisy and physically challenging environments.
