Dual-Band Wi-Fi 4 + BT5.2 Module for IoT Devices and Infrastructure
Built with C&I-grade performance, the CMP9010 is ideal for more complex HOSTED IoT products, devices, and systems. It’s optimized Wi-Fi and BT performance will deliver faster throughput, lower latency, reduced power consumption, faster OTA updates, broader coverage, and longer range. Wireless coexistence is built-in, along with PTA support for external 802.15.4 radios. Linux and FreeRTOS drivers have been pre-tested for NXP’s i.MX MCUs and MPUs, as well as others. Wi-Fi is supported via an SDIO interface, whereas Bluetooth leverages a UART. Wi-Fi operational modes include STA, AP, Wi-Fi Direct, or combinations thereof. Classic Bluetooth and BLE is supported over HCI. The embedded antenna module variant is certified for quick development and faster time to market. There’s also a connector version for external antenna support. For space-constrained designs, there’s a 12 x 12 mm LGA option.
