Dual Radio – Wi-Fi 6, BT5.4 for IoT Devices, and Infrastructure
The CMP9611 delivers the performance and network optimization capabilities of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), which is critical for today’s complicated and crowded wireless systems. Moreover, it offers flexibility to OEMs and users to leverage other lower bandwidth and longer-range protocols like Bluetooth Long Range to address applications that have other demands and needs.
Coexistence support for dual-radio protocols is available to enable multiple networks and applications. Wi-Fi operational modes include STA, AP, Wi-Fi Direct, or combinations thereof. BT5.4 supports LE 2Mbps, Long Range, and Advertising extensions, as well as LE Audio and profiles like HFP, A2DP, and Dual WBS. Classic Bluetooth and BLE are supported over HCI.
With +20dBm output power, coupled with CEL’s high-performance antenna, this embedded antenna module delivers OEMs best-in-class range and coverage, enhancing throughput, reducing latency, lowering power consumption, enabling faster OTA firmware updates, and improving network reliability. There’s a connector version for external antenna options, and for space-constrained designs, there’s a 12x12mm LGA option.
With the ability to support Linux or RTOS systems, the CMP9611 is versatile and ready for integration with almost any MCU or MPU for a variety of applications.
